History of ASU Jackson County Alumni Chapter

he ASU Jackson County Alumni Chapter recently known as Moss Point – Pascagoula ASU Alumni Chapter was originally organized as the Jackson County Alumni Club of Alcorn A&M College. The membership consisted of the following:

Rosetta D. Holloway
Inez Greene
William & Mary E. Johnson
Robert L. Seabron
Carlton Reese
Mr. & Mrs. Goslin Ward
Johnny Gilliam

During the 1980’s the club was reorganized and became The ASU Alumni Chapter of Moss Point-Pascagoula, MS. In 2017 the chapter was renamed The ASU Jackson County Alumni Chapter. The chapter has undergone many personnel changes during the past years.

We have held many fund raisers which allowed us to provide book stipends to students attending Alcorn and to make financial contributions to the ASU Foundation. The Chapter has, on many occasions, represented Alcorn by setting up display booths in high schools, churches and other venues, to assist in the recruitment of students for The University.

We welcome Alcornites living in our area to join us in our support of Alcorn State University.
